Kharkiv Tractor Plant signed a Strategic Partnership Memorandum with the National Technical University Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute.
The document was signed today, on September 22, on the IX International Economic Forum Innovations. Investments. Kharkiv Initiatives! by the owner and president of the DCH group Aleksandr Yaroslavskyy and by NTU KhPI rector Yevgen Sokol.
The businessman noted that restoration of KhTZ is a successful example of the investment work done by the DCH group. Since the beginning of the year the plant has already produced more than 700 tractors, the number of tractors produced by the brand KhTZ is to increase to 1,000 units until the end of 2017. When speaking about the signed Memorandum, Yaroslavskyy stressed that the agreement opens new prospects for the Kharkiv Tractor Plant.
“It is very important for us. KhPI is a university that trains specialists. KhTZ is a platform, it is a Kharkiv, Ukrainian enterprise that needs such specialists. Therefore, it is without a doubt very valuable decision for us. Before that, we signed an agreement on joint cooperation with Kharkiv University named after N. Karazin. We see a great potential in this cooperation”, - Yaroslavskyy said.
In his turn, Andriy Koval, the general director of Kharkiv Tractor Plant, noted that today KhTZ is ready to provide its platform for young engineering specialists.
“KHPI is actually our profile university. We really need young professionals who are able to trigger the further development of models. We are primarily interested in specialists in the field of design and technology. We already have a fairly high average age of workers. Of course, we need newcomers”, - Koval said.
The general director of the plant added that the Memorandum with the educational institution also implies providing salaries for students.22.09.2017
