XTZ commissions a laser complex for marking spare parts

Kharkiv tractor plant has prepared, adjusted and launched a special laser complex designed for marking spare parts and parts that are manufactured at the enterprise.

This complex uses a non-contact application to produce a clear, practically non-destructible image on metal products, their alloys, and other materials used in production.

The applied information also contains additional security elements, which will prevent the possibility of counterfeiting, even if similar equipment is used.

- We have to admit that recently a large number of counterfeit products appeared on the market, which not only hits the consumer's pocket, but also affects the image of our plant. Spare parts for tractors were produced and sold under the XTZ brand, and their quality was very poor. The system that we have introduced in our company will help to protect the manufactured products from forgery and provide the end customer with a quality product, - said Andriy Koval, General Director of the Kharkov Tractor Plant.

Also, in October-November 2017, specialists of the Kharkiv Tractor Plant together with scientists from the Kharkiv National Technical University tested the traction characteristics of tractors, revealing that the use of ballast weight and doubled wheels increases the efficiency of the tractor during the agricultural operations by 20%, and also allows to significantly expand the range of agricultural equipment modularized with tractors XTZ-242K, 243K.20 and 280T.
