Ukrainian Engineering Forum started today in Premier Palace Hotel Kharkiv 5*, the event is attended by the managers of leading engineering enterprises of Kharkiv and Ukraine, as well as by representatives of business, city and regional authorities.
The deputy governor of Kharkiv region Mark Bekker gave an opening speech and highly appreciated the efforts of XTZ plant owner Aleksandr Yaroslavskyy, thanks to whom, the enterprise has not only adjusted the production pace after a long downtime, but also produced about 800 tractors in 2017.
In his speech, the General Director of Kharkiv Tractor Plant, Andrii Koval, noted that the key activities scheduled for 2018-2019 are renovation of the equipment, modernization of production facilities and improvement of manufactured products in accordance with consumers' preferences (as previously reported, investor Aleksandr Yaroslavskyy has allocated about UAH 300 million for these purposes)
Also, Andrii Koval stressed the importance of the company's participation in the state program, according to which 25 to 40 percent of the cost of tractors produced by XTZ will be compensated to the domestic agricultural enterprises.
Ukrainian Engineering Forum, organized by British experts, represents a unique platform where its visitors can hear and meet all the key stakeholders in this sector, including: national and local level officials, managers of Ukrainian leading engineering companies, and heads of regional branches of multinational industrial concerns.
