After purchasing KhTZ products Ukrainian farmers will be reimbursed part of its cost - the MEDT decision

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine (MEDT) has included products of PJSC Kharkiv Tractor Works (KhTZ) into the list of agricultural machinery, after purchasing which Ukrainian farmers will receive part of its cost from the state. The corresponding procedure for compensation was introduced by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade in a law No. 566 from April 13, 2017 "On approval of the Regulations on the Commission for the Formation of the List of Domestic machinery and Equipment for the Agro-Industrial Complex, the value of which is partly compensated by the state budget".

"According to the state program for the development of domestic agricultural machinery, after purchasing a tractor manufactured in Ukraine, agrarians will receive a 20% return from the state budget. The production is localized in Ukraine because of the fact that the main production processes are performed on the territory of our country, and the spare parts for the final product are mainly domestic. This is an effective mechanism that simultaneously promotes the development of several sectors of the agro-industrial complex - agricultural production and profile mechanic engineering", - explained Andriy Koval, KhTZ general director.

At the beginning of this year, Aleksander Yaroslavskyy, the owner of the DCH group and of Kharkiv Tractor Plant, announced about the initiative of similar content developed by plant specialists.

As you know, on May 31, 2017, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MEDT) approved a list of 40 domestic enterprises, the cost of which will be partly compensated by the state budget. The volume of funding for this program for 2017 will be about UAH 550 million.

Info. Kharkiv Tractor Plant dates back to 1930, this is one of the largest machine building enterprises in Ukraine. Thanks to the long-term export of products, the KhTZ trademark has become one of the most recognized Ukrainian brands abroad. The company's strategy is currently focused on restoring market positions both on the domestic and foreign markets. KhTZ owner and investor Aleksandr Yaroslavskyy together with his DCH group has already implemented several successful projects for the revival of industrial enterprises and has invested more than $1 billion in investment projects in Kharkiv region (including $300 million for the preparation of Kharkiv infrastructure for Euro 2012: airport construction, the city’s first 5* hotel and related facilities).
