Kharkiv Tractor Plant to present the upgraded machinery at the international agricultural forum in Kropyvnytskyi

Kharkiv Tractor Plant continues enriching its manufactured equipment, and will present upgraded models at the international agricultural forum in Kropyvnytskyi which will be held September 25-28.

Kharkiv manufacturer’s new products include the updated crawler tractor XTZ-181.20-07. The machine was significantly upgraded in terms of its undercarriage system structure and engineering, and was equipped with 645-mm-wide rubber-cable tracks, an extended track of 1680 mm, a reinforced frame and an attached system used on serial wheel tractors produced by XTZ.

Designers note that such tractors are unique, since the use of a track-type, unlike wheels, allows keeping the soil undamaged as much as possible. This is achieved by reducing the specific pressure on the soil and eliminating slipping due to the increased contact area of the tracks with the surface and the equal weight distribution.

‘Having a track-type tractors track provides significantly more possibilities for operating such tractors, particularly, allows using public roads,’ says Sergiy Bulava, chief engineer for agricultural technologies of XTZ Trading House.

The upgraded XTZ-150K-09.172.10 tractor, formerly known as T-150K, which now has a new lining and a 180 horsepower engine, as well as XTZ-248K.20, will also be presented at the exhibition in Kropyvnytskyi - it received a new modern steering system, updated cabin interior, a longer rear half frame, a new hydraulic system with two 190-liter pumps, as well as an updated attachment system.
